Ford Focus ‘Celebrate Focus’

I recently finished a great project in London partnering with Ford Europe and the brand agency Bisqit. The Ford Focus was first unveiled in 1998, and quickly won the North American and European Car of the Year awards. Since then more than 12 million have been sold, so they wanted to celebrate that achievement with a big thank you to all those involved with the car.

Next, Ford asked Focus owners to share their favorite Focus memories with us via social media this summer. I then depicted some of the best stories on a brand new Focus. We worked for several weeks getting the illustrations approved, doing animations for the ‘Celebrate Focus’ video, and working out the logistics before I came out to draw on the car in Wimbledon. 

The car is being exhibited at the Paris Auto show at the beginning of October. Below is the video that was shot for the campaign, along with a behind the scenes video with me. Thanks to everyone at Ford and Bisqit for such a fun opportunity!
